The id alone cannot be resolved in the one case these rows exist for. A "removed" or "left" line names somebody who is, by then, no longer in the session, so the member list a client would look the id up in has already dropped them — and it rendered as "Sage removed " with the subject silently blank, on the row whose entire job is to say who it was. Declared on ChatMessageDto because the NATS→STOMP relay projects through this class: a field it does not know about never reaches a browser, quietly.
