There was no way to buy a first subscription anywhere in the product. Plan lists were reachable only through a subscription you already held, so an organization with none saw an empty panel and a hint pointing at a different org. The one real billing screen lived on the member profile page, filed on the settings landing under a heading titled "Personal", and was hidden entirely for any org without a parent. The home administrator bar had no billing entry at all. The console answers the question an owner arrives with — what are we on, what does it cost, how do I change it — and prices every control as they move it, so the total is visible before anything is committed. Seats, add-ons and storage blocks each update a running figure, and an annual plan states what actually leaves the account once a year rather than leaving a per-month number to be multiplied in the reader's head. The arithmetic is planQuote, tested against the charge path, because both places the platform previously quoted a price disagreed with what Stripe billed. Reachable from the home admin bar and the settings menu, gated on the finance rights rather than CONFIGURE_SYSTEM: deciding what the organization pays for is a finance decision.
