The designer can now give a rectangle a fill and an opacity, which is how a member covers something up. This renderer drew fill="none", so the signer saw an empty outline where a solid block was meant to be — and on a redacting rectangle they would have seen straight through to what was being taken out. The fill carries the opacity and the border stays solid: fading a border along with a 30% block makes it read as a mistake rather than a choice. A rectangle with no fillColor is the outline every one saved before this still draws.
