The footer badge library plus footer_badges / footer_badge_spacing / footer_badge_height on email_signature_templates. A runner and not just ddl-auto for the usual reason: this service runs ddl-auto: update and would create all of it from the entities, but EmailService — the only service that reads them — runs ddl-auto: none, so the schema has to exist before that service ships. footer_badges is deliberately NOT backfilled from footer_image_source. NULL is what makes a row say 'written before badges existed', which is what sends the reader to the legacy column; filling it in here would erase that distinction and would have to guess between 'none' meaning an empty selection and a real image meaning a one-badge one. Only the reader has the enum to tell those apart. The ADD COLUMNs are expected to be no-ops on a database where Hibernate got there first — and IF NOT EXISTS swallows their DEFAULT clauses with them, since Hibernate never emits one. The SET DEFAULTs are stated separately for that reason, where nothing can swallow them.
