Same defect as kamo-login a200fc6, same cause. getThemePath()'s last resort derives a theme folder from the hostname - the name folders had BEFORE the 2026-08-26 alias migration. Provisioning only ever writes public/<alias>/, so for any organization created since, register.<customer domain> asks for a folder that was never written and every asset 404s. Opening register.<domain> carries no ?org= and a fresh tab records nothing, so that fallback is exactly the path a real signup takes. resolveBrandingSlugFromHost() asks the server who this host is; useThemePath() recomputes when it lands, since the lookup is a round trip and getThemePath() is synchronous and called during render. The hostname fallback stays for when the lookup cannot answer. brandingTick is gone: it existed to recompute one memo after ?org= resolved, and that is now one of two things the hook already listens for, so the ?org= path raises KAMO_THEME_REAPPLY like kamo-login's does.
