Two things a quote could not do. The printed line items inside an option card showed a name and an amount, nothing else — no quantity, no unit label, no rate, no discount. That asks the customer to take all four on trust and leaves them nothing to check an invoice against. Option cards now print the same columns the flat sheet does, and BOTH gain a discount column: a reduction that was agreed has to be visible on the document that states the agreement. Switching between 'Single price' and 'Compare options' carried work one way only, and only when no option existed yet. Flipping across and back therefore discarded whatever had been typed in whichever view was left behind. The two modes are two views of the same first thing being sold, so the switch now carries it both ways; options past the first are alternatives and are left alone, since the flat sheet has nowhere to hold them. The carry is two exported pure functions rather than logic inside a click handler, so the behaviour that was silently wrong is now the behaviour under test.
