The three pickers classified vendors by id range — 200s appraiser, 300s title, 400s escrow. `commerce_vendors.uid` is INT8 DEFAULT unique_rowid(), about 19 digits, so every real vendor failed all three. The only rows that ever rendered came from a hardcoded six-vendor array in the .catch(): the failure path was the only path that produced data. The save went nowhere either. handleVendorChange updated local state and raised a success toast; **************** exist nowhere in shared-lib or SecurityService. No endpoint, no column. Surfaced as a build break: f51c91ec retyped Vendor.uid to string, correctly, and every `uid: 201` and `v.uid >= 200` became a type error — 38 of them, all inside this one feature. Restoring the tab would mean a VendorRole on the row or a join table; an id range is not a classification.
