The card, the live rail and the print preview all led with the option's period total, and the only figure carrying the setup fee — the whole-term contract total — was gated on `commitment > months`. An annual option committed to twelve months, or a monthly one with no commitment, cleared none of that, so the fee a staff member had just typed two inches away appeared nowhere on screen. Each surface now states the first invoice whenever there is a fee, matching the quote total the server computes. The contract line is gated on the figures actually differing rather than on the commitment, so it stops hiding in the one case where it had something to say.
