The wizard opened as a fullScreen MUI Dialog, so signing a package threw the member out of the product: NavTop and NavPri were covered, there was no rail and no top bar, and the only way out was the wizard's own close button. It now renders inline as the tab's content, so the shell stays exactly where it is on every other screen. With the dialog gone the chrome had to go with it. It was three bordered regions boxing in a document — a header, a left rail and a bottom dock — and all three collapsed into ONE hero band, the same gradient over --color-primary that /leads, /account and the settings pages already open with. Back arrow and title on the left; the docket and the step's action on the right. The document owns every remaining pixel. Getting the action into that header meant inverting who draws it. Only the document step knows whether it is showing a spinner, a consent gate, a signing surface or a captured signature, but the header is where a member looks for the next thing to do — so the step now REPORTS its action (StepPrimary) and the header renders it. GuideBar gained an `inline` layout for that: the same ring, count and pulse, with no bar chrome, sized to sit beside a title. Consent is the one action that does NOT move. It has to be given next to the words being consented to; a member agreeing from a bar at the top of the screen may never have reached the text. Also dropped, as dead weight rather than as a decision reversed: - The "Signed" chip on a completed document. The docket node above it is already white and checked, and the chip stated the same fact twice. - The docket's vertical and self-painting modes, now that it only ever renders inline on the hero. - The --legal-chrome / --legal-on-chrome* tokens, which existed to keep three chrome regions in agreement. There is one region now and it uses the app's own gradient, so two names for one colour was drift waiting to happen. --legal-desk and --legal-desk-line stay: the drafting board is still deliberately not derived from the brand. The sub-tab strip hides while the wizard is open — the kind switcher, the status filter and a refresh button over a document would be a third band of chrome and a second way to leave a screen meant to be finished. The settings tab strip above it stays, because that is the application's navigation rather than this panel's.
