LIVE ON PRODUCTION since b9b1fe08. The org master note's ring was a conic gradient in a pseudo-element sized 150% by 150%, centred and rotating once every six seconds — on a wrapper with no `overflow: hidden`. A quarter of a spinning gradient square therefore hung outside the pane on every side and swept across the whole launchpad, behind every other element on the page. Clipping it would have stopped the bleed and left an animation nobody asked for on a page whose entire design is rectangles that hold still. The ring is now static: a plain band of the organisation's colour, inside the wrapper's own bounds. It does the one job the animation was for — saying this pane did not come from the member — without moving. The pulsing halo goes with it for the same reason. Nothing else on the launchpad has an oversized or unclipped pseudo-element; the only remaining conic gradient is a 20px swatch inside a popover.
