It rendered the record's media stream alone — the internal notes people write about a job. Useful, and not what anybody means by "the communications about this order": the customer's calls, texts and e-mails were nowhere, because the communications spine was keyed on leads only. Notes are still there as the first sub-tab, and the customer's traffic is beside them, keyed on the record the same way its documents are. This renders the platform's existing timeline component, not a second one. The contact-point notice is the part people miss. Inbound calls are matched against registered numbers, so a record nobody registered one against has a timeline that is empty for a reason nothing else on screen would explain — and the member concludes the feature is broken rather than unconfigured. It appears only once the count is known, so it never flashes at somebody whose record is correctly set up.
