Note: markets cannot be deleted — only archived. Don't write or expect a "delete a market" option; it doesn't exist in the product, only archive/reactivate.
Hide a market your organization no longer uses (or bring a hidden one back), without losing its history.
Before you start
You need the Manage CRM Settings right. The market must already exist.
Steps
To archive an active market
- Go to Settings → Client Relations Manager → Markets & Fields, on the Active Markets sub-tab.
- Find the market's row and click the Archive icon.
- Confirm in the dialog: "Archive the market '{name}'? It will be hidden from leads, vendors and imports until reactivated. Markets are never deleted."
- Click Archive.
To bring an archived market back
- Switch to the Archived Markets sub-tab.
- Find the market's row and click the Reactivate icon.
- Confirm in the dialog: "Reactivate the market '{name}'? It will become available again for leads, vendors and imports."
- Click Reactivate.
What you'll see
An archived market disappears from the active-market pickers used when creating leads, adding vendors, or configuring imports — but its existing leads, vendors, and history are untouched. Reactivating restores it to full availability immediately.
