VendorDTO.uid became a String — a Long in the database, a string on the wire — and this call site still handed it to **************** which is a server-side request object and still takes the Long. main did not compile against main. Java CI runs no tests and no build gate, so nothing caught it and the next KI image would simply have failed to build. The DTO documents the conversion in the comment above the field; this does it.
