Listen to, organize, or remove your voicemail messages.
Steps
- Open the softphone (top nav phone icon → Call) and click the VM tab. Its title shows how many messages are new.
- Choose what to Show with the chips: All, Unread or Has audio.
- Click a voicemail's play icon to open it in the media player. Playing it marks it read. If it has been transcribed, it says transcribed, and the text is shown alongside the audio.
- Click Call back to return the call from the softphone.
- Use More on a voicemail for:
- Mark read
- Delete…, which offers Archive (hides it from your list; the recording stays on the server) or, if you hold the Voicemail: Permanent Delete permission, Permanently delete (removes it from your phone provider and from Kamo; cannot be undone).
- Mark All Read at the top clears every unread badge at once.
What you'll see
The list updates by itself: a new message appears without a refresh. Played or marked voicemails clear their "new" badge. Archived voicemails leave your list but aren't destroyed; permanently deleted ones are gone for good.
When someone leaves you a message, you also get a Voicemail notification. Opening it takes you straight to your voicemail. You can turn these off under What you are told about in your notification settings.
