Your organization can connect more than one phone-related provider instance — separately, one or more Phone Servers (VOIP) and one or more Bulk Text (SMS) providers. Because there can be several of each, the Extensions, Phone Users, Devices, Voicemail, and Health tabs aren't per-provider screens — they're aggregated views across every connected instance, each row tagged with which instance it came from.
These tabs mostly sync, they don't create
Each aggregated tab pulls its data from the provider(s) via a Sync Now action rather than letting you create records by hand — extensions, users, and devices come from what's actually provisioned on the phone system itself, not typed in here. The one direct action available is unassigning a member from an extension; assigning a member to an extension happens on that member's own Phone Settings tab, not here.
