Connect the Stripe account commissions get paid from, and set the withdrawal minimum and hold period.
Before you start
The Manage Organization Finances right to make changes — without it, you can view the checklist but not edit it.
Steps
- Go to Settings → My Account → Organization Stripe.
- Work through the checklist, in order — each item links out to the matching Stripe dashboard page:
- Create a Stripe account
- Enable Stripe Connect
- Complete the platform profile
- Get top-ups approved
- Verify a bank account
- Protect your commission balance — read this one carefully: if your Stripe balance auto-pays out to your bank, money set aside for commissions can leave Stripe before a payout run happens, and every transfer then silently fails for insufficient funds. Once you've fixed this in Stripe, confirm it here with "I have done this in Stripe."
- Add a restricted API key — paste your Stripe restricted key (
rk_live_…, required) and optional publishable key (pk_live_…), then Connect Stripe. The key is encrypted immediately and never shown again; use Replace Key if you need to rotate it later.
- Steps 1–5 can't be checked directly — they're inferred by running Test Connection, which makes a real call using your restricted key.
- Set Commission Settings:
- Commissions enabled — shows/hides the Commissions tab for your members entirely.
- Minimum withdrawal — a dollar amount, up to 2 decimal places (defaults to $50.00 if unset).
- Hold (business days) — 0 to 30 days a withdrawal waits before the transfer actually happens, giving you a window to cancel it. Zero means it releases on the very next run.
- Members can request withdrawals — if off, members see their balance but an admin has to request withdrawals for them.
- Click Save Settings.
To disconnect
A danger-zone panel (shown once a key is stored) lets you delete the stored key and stop all commission payouts. Member payout accounts and already-earned balances aren't affected.
