Every lead moves through the same five stages. Their names are yours to change.
If your team says "Working" where KamoCRM says "Reckoning", rename it. The stage still behaves identically; only the word on the screen changes, and it changes for everybody in your organization at once.

- How to Rename Your Status Labels — the one screen, including how to put everything back to the defaults.
What you can't change
The five stages themselves, and the sub-statuses inside them. You can't add a sixth stage, remove one you don't use, or reorder them. That's a product decision rather than a setting, and Lead Status vs. Sub-Status explains the reasoning and what the five stages are for.
Worth thinking about before you rename
Everything else refers to these names — reports, filters, saved searches, and every article in this Help Center. Renaming "Grim" to "Dead" is a good idea if that's what your team says; renaming it to something only two people understand is a good way to make the next hire's first week harder.
