Add a lead vendor — and the products it sells — so it can be selected as the source when a lead is created manually or received through an automated import.
Before you start
At least one active Market must already exist. Vendors and products are scoped per market — if no market is active yet, the Vendors & Products card is hidden from Settings. See How to Add a Market
Steps
- Go to Settings, then find the Client Relations Manager section.
- Click the Vendors & Products card.
- Along the top of the vendor table, select the market you're adding this vendor to (vendors are scoped to one market each; the tabs here mirror your active markets).
- Click + Add Vendor in the top right.
- In the Create New Vendor dialog, fill in:
- Vendor Title — required, 2–255 characters.
- Description — optional.
- Click Save Vendor.
- The vendor appears in the table, expanded to show an empty product list. Click + Add Product inside that row.
- In the Create New Product dialog, fill in:
- Product Title — required, 2–255 characters.
- Description — optional.
- Empty Credit Free For All — checkbox. When checked, a lead under this product with no credits assigned can be claimed for free by any rep, instead of sitting unclaimed.
- Click Save Product.
If your organization has the mortgage vertical fully configured (POS enabled, an active Mortgage commerce market, and this market is the org's Residential Mortgage lead market), the product dialog also offers a Borrower Origination Web Portal — default product star toggle. Leave this alone unless you're specifically setting up mortgage portal defaults — see How to Set the Borrower Portal Default Product
What you'll see
The vendor and product are now listed under this market's Vendors & Products tab, and both become selectable — the vendor as Vendor and the product as Product — when creating a lead manually, and when configuring an automated import endpoint for this vendor.
