The four controls in the launchpad masthead — My Widgets, My Wallpapers, the wallpaper switch wallpaper the member chose, and a translucent white pill over a photograph reads as part of the photograph rather than as chrome. They now fill with var(--color-primary) and carry white labels and icons. White is the one fixed hex allowed here: it is the readable side of every org's palette, the same exception the trial pill two lines above already takes. Three notes on what that forced. The wallpaper switch used ink colour to mark the chosen mode — white on brand for the active segment, brand on transparent for the other. With both icons now white that distinction is gone, so selection moved to a lighter well behind the chosen icon, rgba(255,255,255,0.26), with a dimmer one on hover for the unselected side. palette on the brand fill while the label beside it went white. It is flattened to a white silhouette with filter: brightness(0) invert(1). backdrop-filter came off all four. The fill is opaque now, so the blur costs a compositor layer to reveal nothing. The shadow deepened from 0.1 to 0.18 alpha to hold the edge the translucency used to give, and the border became a darkened tone of the brand colour through the house color-mix(in srgb, var(--color-primary) 78%, #1a1a1a) pattern rather than a flat black hairline. Not handled: an org whose primary sits at the pale end gets white labels on a light fill. The fix is a luminance check picking #fff or the toneInk dark, and it is worth doing the moment such an org exists. Verified: tsc --noEmit clean, 242 test files / 3292 tests green.
