Analytics is website traffic analytics β visitor counts, page views, referrers, browsers, countries, and marketing-attribution reporting for your organization's own web properties. It is a private-labeled deployment of Umami, an open-source analytics platform, running as its own separate application (kamo-analytics) and embedded into KamoCRM through single sign-on.
This is not "Sales Analytics"
If you're looking for pipeline, lead, or deal reporting, this isn't it. The original marketing feature list included a "Sales Analytics" item under CRM that hasn't been located as its own screen in the product; whatever exists there is out of scope for this article. Analytics, reached via the top-nav Analytics icon, is general-purpose website analytics β the kind you'd use to see how many people visited your marketing site last week, not how many leads closed.
Where it lives, and who can see it
Analytics appears as an icon in the top navigation bar (nav id analytics), gated on the View Analytics right β with one important restriction: it's hidden entirely for any organization that has a parent organization. Only top-level organizations get the Analytics icon. If you're a member of a sub-organization (a branch, franchise, or similar child org), you won't see Analytics in your nav no matter what rights you hold β this is worth knowing before troubleshooting "why can't I find Analytics," since it's an organization-level restriction, not a permissions one.
How it's wired up technically
Clicking Analytics doesn't load a page built inside KamoCRM's own codebase. It requests a short-lived one-time key (OTK) from KamoCRM's backend, then loads https://analytics.<your-domain> in a full-screen embedded frame, authenticated via that key. The dashboard you see is Umami's own interface, running as kamo-analytics (version 3.1.0 as of this writing) β a separate product with its own navigation, its own terminology, and its own release cycle, wrapped in KamoCRM's chrome.
