Once connected, approved timecards push to Gusto as time entries against the right pay period, employees are matched by work email so you are not maintaining a second roster, and PTO balances read back so an employee requesting time off sees the same number payroll sees. Gusto authorizes through OAuth, so there is no API key to store, rotate, or leak — you approve KamoCRM from inside your Gusto account and can revoke it there just as easily.
