How to Sign an HR Legal Package

Read and sign a legal package (employment agreement, policy acknowledgement) your HR team has sent you.

Steps

1. In the top navigation bar, click the Legal & Compliance icon (next to the timecard clock icon) — or open Settings → My Account → Legal & Compliance. A badge shows how many packages need your attention.
2. Stay on the Legal Packages sub-tab (the other, Assigned Training, is for courses — see the related article).
3. Filter by Pending or Completed, and click a pending package to open it.
4. Work through the package's documents in the left-hand spine — each is marked Needs your signature or Read only. Click Sign and continue or I've read this — continue on each in turn.
5. On the final step, read the attestation statement and confirm it. This is recorded as your acknowledgement of exactly what you agreed to.

What you'll see

The package moves to Executed for you, and you can reopen it from Completed at any time to read or download it. Keep the reference the app shows you — it documents exactly what you agreed to and when.

If a package shows Waiting on the other signers, you're done — nothing further is required from you until the rest complete. If it shows We can't open this yet or a similar blocked state, your HR team needs to reissue it; contact them rather than trying to work around it.
