Your HR team may ask you to upload documents as part of a package, like a photo of your ID or a copy of a license. Here is how.
Upload a document
- Click the pen icon in the top bar, or go to your profile's Legal & Compliance tab.
- Open the package and step through it. When you reach a requested document, you'll see what HR asked for and an example if they gave one.
- Drag your file onto the box, or click Choose Files. On a phone you can tap Take a Photo to use your camera.
- Wait for the bar to fill. You'll see a small picture of each file when it's done.
- If HR asked for an Expiration Date, enter the date printed on the document.
- Go on to the next step. At the end, confirm and send.
Tips for good photos
- Lay the document flat in good light.
- Make sure all four corners are in the picture.
- Hold still. If a photo looks blurry or too small, Kamo will tell you so you can take it again.
After you send it
If your package needs a review, it goes to HR. You'll see where it stands: Submitted, then In Review, then Approved or Returned.
If HR sends it back
You'll be told what to fix. Open the package and you'll only see the items that need fixing; everything HR already accepted stays as it is.
- Your earlier upload is shown with HR's marks on it. Numbered pins on the page match the numbered notes beside it.
- Click Upload Corrected Version, add the new file, and send the package again.
