Your first ten minutes in KamoCRM: getting in, and knowing what you're looking at.
Signing in
- Go to your organization's KamoCRM address. If your organization uses its own branded address, that's the one to use β it takes you to the same place with your own logo on it.
- Enter your username or email address, and your password.
- If you belong to more than one organization, you'll be asked which one you're working in. You can switch later without signing out.
If your email address is refused, try your username. KamoCRM accepts several forms of identifier and they don't all resolve to the same account β a shared or departmental address in particular may not be the one your access is attached to.
The three parts of every screen
The top bar stays put wherever you go. It holds the search, your notifications, the chat and phone controls, and β if your organization uses time cards β the clock you punch.
The left menu is how you move between areas. It only lists what your organization has switched on and your role permits, so it is probably shorter than a colleague's. You can rearrange it: How to Customize Your Navigation Layout.
The main area is whatever you opened.
Home
Signing in lands you on Home β a launchpad of cards, one per area, plus your pinned notes and any links your administrators have put there. It's meant to be personalized: How to Customize Your Home Screen.
Switching organizations
If you work across several, the organization switcher is in the top bar. Switching changes everything below it β you're now looking at that organization's leads, documents and people. How to Browse and Switch Organizations.
When something isn't there
A missing menu item is nearly always one of two things: a feature your organization hasn't turned on, or a permission your role doesn't have. Why Can't I See a Screen or Button? covers how to tell which.
