Write a new note, or make changes to one you already have.
Steps
Create a note
- On the Notes page, click New Note (or press N while the wall has focus).
- Type a title and write the body. New notes start in the rich-text editor — use its toolbar for headings, bold, lists, links, tables, and images.
- Optionally set a category (a single free-text label) and add tags — type a tag and press Enter to add it, and click a tag's × to remove it.
- Click Save.
Edit an existing note
- Click a note on the wall to open it.
- Change the title, body, category, or tags as needed. Changes auto-save about two seconds after you stop typing — the header shows Unsaved changes, then Saved {time} once it lands. You can also press Ctrl/Cmd+S, or click Save, to save immediately.
Switch between rich text and plain text
- Click the text-format icon in the note's toolbar.
- Switching to plain text discards all formatting permanently — confirm the warning if you're sure. Switching back to rich is instant and safe.
Delete a note
- Open the note and click the trash icon, or select it on the wall and press Delete/Backspace.
- Confirm — deleting a note can't be undone.
What you'll see
A new note appears on the wall immediately; edits to an existing note save automatically, or immediately if you save manually.
