Pop a note out of the wall into a small floating sticky that stays visible while you work elsewhere in KamoCRM.
Before you start
The note must already be saved (not a brand-new, unsaved note).
Steps
- Open the note, and in its toolbar click the icon whose tooltip reads Float this note on screen.
- The note detaches into a small sticky window. Drag it by its header to move it; use the resize handle to change its size (or, with the sticky focused, arrow keys move it and Shift+arrow keys resize it).
- Double-click the sticky's title to rename it in place. Use its own color and close controls directly on the sticky.
- Click the sticky's minimize control to collapse it to a small hex-shaped head, or maximize to expand it full-screen; a restore control returns it to its normal floating size.
- To bring it back into the wall, click Put this note back in the list — either from the sticky itself or from the note's toolbar if you reopen it (its icon changes to a reattach icon while floating).
What you'll see
The sticky stays on top of whatever you're doing across the app — not just the Notes page — until you close or reattach it. A note that already has rich formatting shows read-only on the sticky (a note reading "This note has formatting, so it is read-only here. Open it in Notes to edit."); a plain-text note can be edited directly on the sticky itself.
