Privacy

End-to-End Encryption in Kamo Meets explains what is and isn't encrypted, and the trade-off it involves: with end-to-end encryption switched on, some features that need the server to see the video — recording among them — stop working. That's not a bug, it's what end-to-end means.

Two kinds of meeting link

The link you send to a customer and the link your own team uses are not always the same address. If a guest reports being asked to sign in, that's usually why — send them the join link from the meeting itself rather than the one in your own calendar.
