Note: there's no "who can create a meeting" control here β that's a Security Role right (Start Meeting), not a Meets setting. This tab is about what happens once someone's in the meeting flow, not who's allowed to start one.
Set guest policies, waiting room behavior, passcode rules, and end-to-end encryption for your organization's meetings.
Before you start
The Manage Meet Settings right.
Steps
- Go to Settings β Kamo Meets β Security & Access.
- Guest Policies β Require Display Name, Allow Anonymous Guests, Require a signed-in account, and a Guest Link Expiry in hours (0 = never expires).
- Waiting Room β Waiting Room Mode (Always / Guests Only / Never), who skips the lobby (organizer only, up through everyone), who can present, and whether attendees can turn on their camera or unmute themselves.
- Passcodes β Passcode length (4β16 characters, default 6), and whether to include the passcode directly in the join link.
- Encryption β toggle End-to-End Encryption. See End-to-End Encryption in Kamo Meets before turning this on β it disables recording.
- Click Save changes.
