How to Connect or Switch a Meeting Provider

Switch your organization's active meeting provider between Kamo Meets, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams, and connect the one you choose.

Before you start

The Manage Meet Settings right, and your organization must have Meets enabled.

Steps

1. Go to Settings → Kamo Meets → Provider Setup.
2. Click Compare what each provider supports to see a full feature-support table before deciding, if you want.
3. Click a provider card to select it. Confirm in the dialog — read it carefully: existing scheduled meetings keep using their original provider; only new meetings switch.
4. For Zoom or Microsoft Teams, complete the connection form:
   • Choose Use our own app credentials (Zoom: Account ID, Client ID, Client secret; Teams: Directory/Tenant ID, Client ID, Client secret) — or Sign in with one click if platform OAuth has been registered for your organization.
   • Optionally set a Fallback host account email — used when a member starting a meeting has no account on the provider; leave blank to have those meetings fail outright rather than be hosted under the wrong identity.
5. Click Test connection to verify before saving for real — this is a genuine live check, not a placeholder.
6. Click Save provider settings.

To disconnect

Click Disconnect on a configured provider's form.

What you'll see

The provider's status updates (Active / Pending Setup / Error / Inactive), and every other Meets settings tab now reflects what that provider can and can't do.
