Add a new contact to one of your address books.
Before you start
You need at least one contact book — if you have none yet, KamoCRM prompts you to create one first (see How to Organize Contacts with Books and Groups).
Steps
- On the Contacts page, click New (or New contact) in the list panel's toolbar.
- In the Create Contact dialog, work through the tabs — Personal (prefix, first/middle/last name, nickname, birthday, anniversary, gender, photo URL), Contact (emails, phones, addresses), Work (organizations), Social & Web (URLs, instant messaging), and Relationships. Every tab is optional; fill in whatever you have.
- Pick which Contact Book the new contact belongs to, if you have more than one.
- Click Create. You need at least a name, an email, or an organization for the button to be enabled — a contact with nothing identifying at all can't be saved.
What you'll see
The contact appears in the book you chose and opens automatically in the detail panel on the right.
