Connect an outside address book so KamoCRM can keep syncing contacts from it.
Before you start
Credentials or server details for the account you're connecting (a CalDAV/CardDAV URL, username, and password for Apple iCloud or a custom server).
Steps
- In the left sidebar, click Manage Contact Sources.
- Click Add Source.
- Optionally give it a Title (for example, "Personal Gmail" or "Work Microsoft") so you can tell sources apart later.
- Choose a Provider type: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Apple iCloud, or Custom CalDAV/CardDAV.
- For Apple iCloud or Custom CalDAV/CardDAV, fill in the CalDAV URL, CardDAV URL, username, and password, then click Add Source.
- Once added, a status dot next to the source shows whether it's connected, syncing, or in an error state. Click the pencil icon to edit a source's title or credentials, or the trash icon to remove it.
What doesn't work yet
Choosing Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 shows a note that credentials will be stored "after you complete the authorization popup" — but no OAuth popup actually opens. As of this writing, those two provider options don't complete a connection through this dialog. Apple iCloud and Custom CalDAV/CardDAV, which authenticate with a username and password instead of OAuth, work as described above.
What you'll see
A working source shows as connected and begins syncing contacts into your address book on the schedule the sync engine runs on.
