Change what's on file for a contact, export it, or remove it — one at a time or in bulk.
Steps
Edit one contact
- Click a contact to open their detail panel, then click Edit.
- Change any field across the editor's tabs, then click Save. Click Cancel to discard your changes instead.
Export one contact
- With the contact open, click Export vCard. A
.vcffile for that one contact downloads.
Delete one contact
- With the contact open, click Delete, then confirm. Deleting a contact removes everything on file for them — this can't be undone.
Bulk edit multiple contacts
- In the contact list, check the boxes next to the contacts you want (shift-click to select a range), or click Select all shown.
- A selection bar appears with Move (to a different book), Add to group, Export, and Delete. Pick the action you want, and for Move/Add to group, choose the destination.
- Confirm the delete if that's what you chose — bulk delete also can't be undone.
What you'll see
Your edit, export, or delete applies to the contact(s) you selected. A short confirmation toast (for example, "Saved," "Deleted {name}," or "{count} contacts moved") confirms what happened.
