Scope note: this tab is built for the mortgage vertical — it tracks per-loan document requirements for the account's borrowers. On an account with no mortgage Application, it's simply empty; there's no general-purpose file-attachment feature here for non-mortgage accounts.
Upload, satisfy, accept, or reject documents required for an account's loan application(s).
Before you start
The account needs at least one mortgage Application for the Borrowers and requirement lists to show anything.
Steps
- Open the account and click its Documents tab.
- Under Borrowers, pick the borrower (party) you're working with — each appears once they're added to a loan application.
- Review that borrower's Requirements list — each shows a status (Outstanding, Partially received, Received, Under review, Accepted, Rejected, Expired, Waived, or Not applicable) and who it's waiting on (Borrower, Lender, or Third party).
- To upload: click Upload Document, choose a Document Type, and pick the file. Check Apply to all of this borrower's loans to satisfy the same requirement across every loan the borrower has, if relevant.
- To satisfy an existing requirement with a document already in the Document Vault: click Satisfy, choose a matching document from the vault, and confirm — optionally apply it across all the borrower's loans the same way.
- To review a submitted document: click Accept, or Reject with a reason (Illegible, Wrong document type, Wrong party, Incomplete pages, Expired/stale, Unsigned, Mismatch to file, All pages not provided, Outdated period, or Needs sourcing) and an optional note.
What you'll see
The requirement's status updates immediately, and (when applied across all loans) every matching requirement for that borrower updates together. Uploaded files remain available in the account's Document Vault for satisfying future requirements without re-uploading.
