Note: there is no way to add a note directly on an account. Notes live on the account's orders, and this tab only displays them — an informational banner on the tab says so. To add a note, do it from the relevant order.
Review the notes recorded against an account's orders, and the full audit trail of everything that's happened on the account.
Before you start
Open the account — see How to Browse and Search Accounts
Steps
Notes
- Click the account's Notes tab.
- Read the banner explaining that these notes are order-scoped, not account-level.
- Browse the list — each note shows its author (or "System" if automated), date, content, and whether it's marked Customer Visible.
History
- Click the account's History tab (or, from Overview, View full history).
- Use the panel's filters to narrow by field, actor, or date.
- Browse entries — field edits, members added/removed, leads/orders linked, address changes, and any merge that folded another account into this one. Entries referencing a person resolve to that person's name where known, falling back to a captured note if they've since left the organization.
What you'll see
Both tabs are read-only views into activity that happened elsewhere on the account (orders, the Members tab, the Edit Account dialog, linking, merging) — there's nothing to save on either tab itself.
