Note: this is the account's own Members tab (who's attached to this specific account), not the /account page's separate Members/Team Members tabs, which manage your organization's staff roster instead — see What's on an Account record? for that distinction.Add, remove, or set the primary contact among the people attached to an account.
Before you start
Open the account — see How to Browse and Search Accounts
Steps
Add a member
- On the account's Members tab, click Add Member.
- In the picker, search your organization's directory by name — both staff and non-staff members are eligible, since the person paying for an account is often not on the payroll. Anyone already on the account shows as unselectable.
- Select one or more people and confirm.
Set the primary member
- On the Members tab, find the person you want as primary.
- Click the star icon next to their row (Set as Primary).
Remove a member
- Find the person's row and click the remove icon.
- Confirm in the dialog. If the person is the account's primary member, you're warned that removing them leaves the account without one until you set another — their own member record isn't deleted, only detached from this account.
What you'll see
The Members tab, and the account's Overview card (Primary Member/Primary Email/Phone), update immediately. Each member's row shows an icon indicating whether they're staff or a non-staff member, and a role label (Primary Member, Account Manager, or Member).
