Save someone who emailed you (or who's on a message you're reading) into your Contacts, straight from the reading pane.
Steps
- Open a message and click the sender's or a recipient's name/chip — a small card pops up with their details.
- On the card, click Add to contacts. (The card also offers Copy email address, View contact if they're already saved, and Find messages to search your mail for everything from that address.)
- A dialog opens. Pick a Contact Book to save them into (or Create new book), then fill in or confirm First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone, Organization, and any Notes.
- Click Save Contact.
What you'll see
The person is saved to the contact book you chose. The next time you compose a message, they'll show up in the recipient autocomplete under Contacts.
