The Mailboxes tab has three sub-tabs — Mailboxes, Email Aliases, and Shared Mailboxes — and what the first one looks like depends entirely on which email provider your organization has active (see What is an email provider?).
- Enterprise providers (KamoMail, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoho Mail, IceWarp, Exchange, SMTP Only) — the Mailboxes sub-tab lets you provision new mailboxes directly on the provider, assign multiple members to one, and manage status (Active/Suspended). Real accounts get created on your provider.
- Personal providers (Gmail Personal, Outlook Personal, Individual IMAP) — the Mailboxes sub-tab instead registers accounts members connect themselves, with a toggle for whether the member can configure the connection on their own or whether an admin sets it up for them.
Email Aliases are alternate addresses a member can send from, layered on top of their real mailbox — not separate accounts. Shared Mailboxes are accounts multiple members can access and send from together, with individually grantable access per member.
