Note: the Age Requirement and Content Flag (alcohol/tobacco/firearms) fields are conditionally shown based on your organization's applied Security Model (a platform/account-level concept, set on Branch Types). Most organizations won't see these fields at all — that's expected, not a bug, unless a platform administrator has attached a model that grants your org that choice.
Set your organization's default timezone, language, currency, privacy, and (where applicable) age and content restrictions.
Before you start
The Configure System right.
Steps
- Go to Settings → Essential Setup → Behavior & Labeling, find the Organization Settings card, and click Edit.
- Set Timezone, Default Language, and Default Currency.
- Check Private Organization if it shouldn't be publicly visible/discoverable.
- If shown (see the note above), set Member Age Requirement / Team Member Age Requirement, and any of the Content Flags (Alcohol-related / Tobacco-related / Firearms-related) that your organization's security model delegates to you rather than fixing itself.
- Click Save.
What you'll see
These defaults apply organization-wide. Event Sounds — the default sound played for platform events — lives directly below this card on the same tab, but is documented separately.
