Run wage-and-hour compliance reports over a date range: rounding neutrality, meal/rest premium exposure, and an audit of every manual adjustment.
Before you start
- Manage Timecards right.
Steps
- In the nav bar, click Human Resources → Attendance tab → the Reports sub-tab.
- Set a From and To date (defaults to the last month through today).
- Click Run reports.
What you'll see
Three reports run together:
- Rounding neutrality — checks whether your organization's punch-rounding rule has, over the window, favored employees/been neutral, or favored the employer. A verdict of "favors employer" is flagged as non-compliant with 29 CFR 785.48(b) and shown with an error alert; the report explicitly notes that neutrality is a property of the actual data, not just the setting.
- Meal and rest premium exposure — lists findings per member where a meal or rest break was missed or interrupted and a premium may be owed. The report treats these premiums as wages, not penalties — unpaid premiums carry additional legal exposure once they should have appeared on a wage statement but didn't.
- Adjustment audit — every manual change made to any timecard in the window, who made it, and their stated reason, including a flag for self-adjustments. This is the report the app itself describes as the one that "finds a manager quietly trimming hours" — a pattern invisible one timecard at a time and obvious in aggregate.
